it's the reminder that we should always reach for the stars

Anita founded the renowned “Second Avenue Theater Company”, with Charles Durning as Artistic Director, and starred in and produced several hit Los Angeles productions, including the L.A. revival of John Patrick Shanley’s (“Moonstruck”) “Savage in Limbo” which earned Anita several Critics Choice nods as producer and actress as well as rave reviews in the L.A. Times, Variety and Hollywood Reporter.

Our Story

Though Second Avenue is a street in Manhattan, its name means more to me than just a street. Second Avenue, to me, is a concept. It conjures up the feeling of hope, and that any dream is possible with hard work and perseverance.

Second Avenue is the name of the street where Charlie was living when he was reunited with my mom. He is the embodiment of never giving up, be it your career or someone you love.

My company is about creating projects that lift the spirit and bring joy and amusement. As a growing company, with several wonderful shows already under our belt, we have many more exciting projects on the way. Whether it be scripted, documentary, reality, animated, or music based, Second Avenue Productions is committed to creating high quality entertainment.

Second Avenue Productions has had numerous television reality development deals —Critical Content, Lionsgate (Rogue-Atlas), Bunim-Murray Productions, Renegade83, GRB Entertainment, ITV Studios USA, and T Group Productions. We are currently in development with several scripted television programs and on-camera talents.
